“Transforming lives through passionate prayer and spiritual discovery”

At Shepherd of the Heart United Methodist Church in Pearland we want to create opportunities to grow in our prayer lives. Our vision is for every person to have an intimate relationship with God through spending time listening, as well as speaking to Him. We also have a desire to not only be a Pearland church with a prayer ministry, but a praying church with a passion to transform lives through prayer.

Philippians 4:6 "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done."

Our Prayer Room provides a special place to intentionally meet with Jesus by providing a comfortable space to ask for prayer, offer prayer, to listen for his voice and to soak in his presence.

The Prayer Room offers guided prayerful experiences.

At the Healing Water station you can pick up stones symbolizing life's burdens, and release them into the water with the knowledge that you can give God these burdens and truly let them go.

At the Cross, you can simply sit and pray or use the specific prayer topic guide for scriptures to reference.

Prayer Requests can be left on the prayer wall and in a prayer box. All prayers are prayed over by the Prayer Team each week.
